For game producers
Art is blocked on design. Design says it shipped. The build says otherwise.
Producing isn't managing a board — it's holding a chain of dependencies across people who don't share a vocabulary. Art is waiting on a design that's "done." Design's "done" isn't in the build. And the milestone date hasn't moved on the plan, so on paper everything is fine. The chase across disciplines is the whole job, and it's the part no tracker does for you.

01 · What Ayven does with the milestone
She chases the dependency, not the people.
Ayven watches the milestone's dependency chain in YouTrack and asks across disciplines in Slack or Teams. When a "done" upstream doesn't show up downstream, she finds the gap and asks the specific question — not "any update?" but "the layout's in the doc; is it in the build Mike's on?" — reroutes around whoever's out, and keeps one honest read on whether the milestone is actually green.
02 · The register
"Shipped" means it's in the build.
Ayven APP · Thursday 4:10pm
The layout was called "shipped" in the doc, but the YouTrack task was open and Mike's branch didn't have the spec. Now the task is closed and the commit references it — so the boss-room layout is genuinely in the build, and Lin can start.
for a game team, "done" is a commit — not a line in a design doc
03 · What Ayven runs for your studio
A producer's chase, running on its own.
Milestone dependency chase
She follows the chain — art waiting on design waiting on code — and asks the specific unblocking question at each link, so a milestone doesn't sit "on track" while two people are stalled.
one honest read on greenCross-discipline handoffs
Art, design, audio, and code use different words for "done." Ayven translates the handoff into the concrete artifact the next person needs, and confirms it landed.
handoffs that actually completeBuild-readiness verification
Where work links to YouTrack, "shipped" is checked against the closed task and the commit — not a message in a channel. What the milestone review sees is what's real.

05 · The honest answer
YouTrack tracks the tasks. It doesn't chase the people.
If your studio already runs on YouTrack, keep it — it's a genuinely good fit for game development, and Ayven reads it rather than replacing it. But a tracker records state; it doesn't notice that a "done" upstream never reached the build, and it doesn't ask the artist's blocker of the designer who's about to go on leave. That noticing and asking is the producer's job — and it's the part Ayven takes off your plate.
The tracker is state, not follow-through
A task board tells you what's open. It doesn't chase the person who owns the open thing, or catch when a doc says shipped and the branch says otherwise. Ayven works that gap.
state recorded · follow-through chasedReads YouTrack, doesn't fight it
Ayven verifies against YouTrack — closed tasks, linked commits — and coordinates in Slack or Teams. No migration, no second board for the team to keep in sync.
