Ayven is an AI coordinator that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams. This documentation covers getting her into your workspace, what she does, and how to reach her programmatically over the HTTP API.

Getting started

1. Add Ayven to Slack

   Install the Slack app into your workspace — the install flow asks for the permissions Ayven needs and drops her into your team:

   On Microsoft Teams instead? Download the Teams app package and upload it in Teams under Apps → Manage your apps → Upload an app.

2. Talk to her — nothing else required

   You don't need to connect anything to start. Ayven holds asks natively — owner, deadline, chasing, digest — from the first @Ayven message. Mention her in a channel she's been invited to and ask for what you need — a chase, a piece of research, a ticket. Anything she wants to change in your systems comes back to you for approval first.

3. Connect your tracker

   Start native, then connect your tracker: without one, "done" is what a person tells her. With one, done means the ticket actually changed. That upgrade — verified completion — is why most teams connect within the first week. Sign in to the Ayven web app to connect integrations, review what she's working on, and manage settings such as API keys.
